The JW® GripSoft® Dog Deshedding Tool removes large amounts of loose fur and debris to reduce overall shedding and promote healthy skin and coat. Gripsoft technology features non-slip grips and ergonomic handles which are made to optimize comfort and control while grooming your pet. Long-lasting and durable stainless steel blades provide years of use. Regular use will decrease the amount of shedding around the house by removing large patches of unwanted hair at once.

Directions for Use (Short Hair)
- Preparation: Ensure your pet’s coat is completely dry. Before using the deshedding tool, brush your pet to remove any mats or tangles, as using it on knotted fur can be uncomfortable or break the teeth.
- Technique: Gently stroke the tool across the coat in the direction of hair growth. Do not go against the grain, as this can irritate the skin.
- Pressure: Use light, gentle, and long strokes. Avoid excessive pressure or staying in one area for too long to prevent skin irritation.
- Area Focus: Start from the head and work your way back, taking extra care around the stomach, legs, and rear end.
- Frequency: Use the tool 1–2 times a week for 10–20 minutes
