Do you have a hound that doesn't like walking in the rain? Then this raincoat is the perfect new Winter accessory for them.
These new limited edition raincoats designed by the Greyt Stuff manager have been tested by model Gypsy and were a big hit. The body and longer snood are lined with a snuggly wool coating. The snood can be worn out, keeping more of the neck and ears warm but can also be folded down to make a stylish wide snood. The design is finished with a full wrap around velcro belt.
Another greyt feature of these coats is that they are waterproof. The outer layer is made from Okewa rainwear fabric which has been designed to suit New Zealand weather conditions. Usually only for humans, Greyt Stuff has been very lucky to be able to purchase this fabric for making hound raincoats.
More information on Okewa.... All Okewa coats are waterproof with a rating of 10,000mm. Coats are completely lined and breathable up to 8,000g/sqm/24hrs. Technical two-layer fabrics are prepared for Okewa by bluesign® System Partner mills in Japan and Taiwan. Okewa coats are made slowly, consciously and ethically with our dream manufacturing partner in Bangkok, Thailand.
Okewa is our nod to our homeland, our land of the long white cloud. In New Zealand's indigenous language, te reo Māori, the word 'Okewa' means large grey raincloud / grey stone.
